Missing Six

Rock / Progressive / Indie

Indianapolis, IN

Billboard

While most people rely on the coasts for the latest in entertainment, the Midwest continues its tireless campaign to rescue music from its current state of mediocrity. Missing Six brings their bass and drum driven progressive, indie pop rock to the frontlines with the release of their second full length CD, Lose Yourself.

Taking influences from jazz, rock, folk, electronic, and neo-classical works, they create palatable, yet subtly complex pieces.

Missing Six has shared the stage with such acts as the Shiny Toy Guns, Liz Janes, Chris Shaffer, the Blacksoil Project, and Wolfy. Performances have included the Van's Warped Tour, Little 500, Independent Music + Art Festival and the Midwest Music Summit among others

Lose Yourself is available online and in independent music stores

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov) Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany! Feel free to download my music!

Hi and thx for the add ; even it's not what I called progressive rock (it doesn't sound like Yes, Camel, King Crimson or Genesis) it's quite fresh ! My congratulations ! Sincerely yours, Ikaruga.

interesting song...I really like the addition of the good snare drum in the middle. Awesome use of instruments, great vocals lead singer has awesome voice. Maybe one little suggestion to make the beginning stronger, speed up the tempo a little bit., just a suggestion
