Mild Winter was formed in the fall of 2006, by Ben and Melanie. The original purpose of the band was to finish and record some songs that we had each written on our own. After finishing the CD we decided to start playing live and asked our friend Nik to join the band in the spring of 2007.
During the Summer of 2007, we demoed new songs for our upcoming full length CD. We also got married and bought a house, so we didn't have a lot of time to write and demo. In the fall we began to have more time to play again and finished writing the album. We then spend the many months working on recording, we are very slow at that.
Now that brings us up to the Winter of 2008. We have the CD done and are planning on releasing it February 8th at EMU Common Grounds. We are looking forward to showing everyone what we have been working on the past 4 months.
