Midus Touch consists of James "Ron" Madison aka Da Inspector who is originally from Bronx, NY and Miguel Scott aka Protoculture originally from Denver, CO. They met 5 years ago on www.404audio.com. Da Inspector had just discovered DnB through a long term friend and wanted to start producing. He learned of a local website and made a post asking other local Atlanta producers to give him a shout if they wanted to work on track. Protoculture, a work in progress producer, and local DJ responded. Through immaculate conception (no homo, pause) Midus Touch was born…
Since then, they have worked and reworked tunes in search of the "Midus" Sound. During this journey Protoculture has gone to school at the "Conservatory" in Tempe, AZ. He did a short internship at the prestigious Electric Lady Studio's in NY, NY, returning as a certified audio engineer working with several high profile projects. He currently operates within a very high profile studio in Atlanta and is continuing his goal to eventually become a mastering engineer. Da Inspector continued to makes connections in the industry that would soon prove to be invaluable to the birth and future success of their group.
Midus Touch is known for their use of live guitars (played by Protoculture), violins, and vocals. Tuere, a third member of Midus Touch, is a local Atlanta neo-soul vocalist that is sure to make DnB recognize very soon. She’s an exclusive addition to Midus Touch and will be featured in a number of upcoming tunes. She has appeared on Craggz and Parallel Forces album "Northern Soul" courtesy of Midus Touch, and will continue to work with other featured artists in DnB.
The best words used to describe the "Midus" sound are versatile, sexy and soulful. Midus Touch relies on the fact that not everyone likes the same thing all the time. Their main goal is to give a complete package, so not only DnB listeners enjoy the music…but so will your average person.
Midus Touch makes everything from a Nero Roller to the sexiest of Liquid Funk and everything in-between. Recently, Midus Touch made a trend of working with different producers like Dan Marshall, Autumn, TRG, Mayhem, Perpetumn and Jay Flux with many others in the works.
Midus Touch has been receiving spins from Nookie, Kubiks, Lomax, Social Security, Blue MarTen, Dj Lee, Jay Rome, Psidream, Becee and Dj Roots just to name a few. With a 12 on the way Midus Touch will show DNB just what they are made of.
In the upcoming months Midus Touch will be releasing a number of tunes. Be on the look out and watch this space for ongoing updates with new information and tunes.
