marching in line right with you
our robotic moves aren't new
every step is right on cue.
we are christian clones, we are
being diff'rent would just mar
be all the same and we go far
every step is right at par.
no one dares to change the flow
tradition makes us not grow
we like our god we've made below
every step makes us just glow...

And watching your eyes
They try to look elsewhere
For they hold your lies.
Your mouth says you're happy
Your words say you're free
But when I look deeper
Your eyes scream at me.
"I'm just so disgusted

These things right outloud
As words-they'd be too real

lonely
swirling laughter all around
people jumping up and down
in this ocean I will drown
whirlpool of lonely.
cell phone ringing in my ear
needy people suck my cheer
they will never see my fear
of ending up so lonely.
feed the kids and walk the dog
clean the house and take a jog
read the Word--it clears the fog
and takes away the lonely.
