Melted Rubber Humans

Electronica / Ambient / Experimental

Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom

Billboard

The Melted Rubber Humans produce music that is a fusion of late 1970's post-punk/ industrial and 1990's techno/ electronica/ ambient, with a smattering of hippie psychedelica. Their music is influenced by Gong, Kraftwerk, early Pink Floyd, This Heat, Throbbing Gristle, pre-pop Human League, Cabaret Voltaire, pre-pop Ultravox, Public Image, Orbital, The Orb, Transglobal Underground, Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, Daft Punk, Underworld, Fini Tribe, Fatboy Slim, Loop Guru, William Orbit, Prodigy. With such a divergent and eclectic range of influences, The Melted Rubber Humans produce a sound that is distinctive and unique. Captain Melted has been described as "an undiscovered genius" (though only by himself).

The Melted Rubber Humans offer you their tunes for free, in the hope that you will love them so much that you will want to hear more and more Melted Rubber Humans tunes, and that you might even consider making a donation to ensure that Captain Melted can continue with his fine work, unhindered by the straighjacket of bastard bosses and egotistical employers. If you would like to donate a few dollars or pounds, you can stuff some cash in an envelope and send it to Dee Sunshine, 35 Falkland Street (0/1), Glasgow, G12 9QZ, Scotland, UK. Dee will accept notes of any currency and cheques in UK pounds sterling. Go on, you know you want to!
