The band consisted of Mark Oswald (vocals and bass), Jeff Roberts (guitar), Ben Stumpf (lead vocals), and Jon Reilly (drums). They released one album in 2001 titled "Who You Gonna Call?!?!...".
McFly was a pop-punk band from Nashua, NH formed in late 2000 from the remains of their previous band Out 2 Dry. Out 2 Dry consisted of Mark Oswald, Jon Reilly, and Jack Pelletier and they released an 8 song EP titled "Backwards Talking Am I". Ben Stumpf joined the band in late 2000 as the new lead singer (vocal duties had previously been split between Mark and Jack). After a few practices, one involving a potential keyboard player, Jack made the decision to leave and form a new band, Mazama.
Still wanting to perform and record, Mark, Jon, and Ben started looking for a new guitarist. Jon suggested his friend Jeff Roberts, who at the time was playing with another Nashua pop-punk band, Smash City. Jeff joined the band and practices began immediately.
After building a small fan base and a new set of songs, McFly decided to record in the Spring of 2001. The result was the 8 song release titled " "Who You Gonna Call?!?!...". The CDs were copied one at a time by Mark and Ben who also put together the artwork.
The album cover is a picture of Mark as a child wearing a Ghostbusters costume with his friend and neighbor Jen. The back cover is Mark and Jen sitting on Mark's back steps. The inside art varied from copy to copy. Some cds had a fold-out insert that was glued together and had pictures of Mark and Ben as children (although none of the pictures were of the two together because they didn't meet until highschool). Another panel of the insert has a picture from a show at Greely Park in Nashua, NH (it is of Ben jumping in the air and Jon Reilly playing drums) This picture was in every copy. The art on the actual CD changed frequently. There were at least 4 different pictures that appeared on the CD, one of each member.
Mark Oswald has gone on to other bands including; The Scenic Route, Pistols At Dawn, Alter Ego(n), Kincaid, Love Bombs Like Love Gods, Attitude, Finco Mase, Applaud Or Die, and Dead in Four (his solo project). He has also started to score films.
Jon Reilly went on to The Scenic Route and has been the drummer for Big D And The Kids Table since 2004.
Jeff Roberts went on to The Scenic Route, Kincaid, and his current band Pinsky which is based out of Portland, Maine.
Ben Stumpf went on to The Scenic Route and continues to write and play with Mark Oswald in their band Finco Mase. His most recent project, Thin Ice, is in the process of recording and plan to press a 7" in the near future.
