Maryanna is:
--- a Texan who doesn't like country music
--- a music therapist
--- a singer
--- a mediocre guitar player
--- a songwriter
--- a wannabe piano player
--- perpetually sarcastic
--- painfully self-critical
--- incapable of drinking coffee from any type of mug without spilling it on herself. (this includes travel mugs with tiny spouts that are designed for those who like to drink on the go.)
--- ...but NEVER incapable of drinking bourbon without spilling it on herself.
--- ...and apparently using double negatives today.
--- ever regretful that her parents moved to houston (of all places?) instead of raising her on the east coast where they met, where much of her family is, and where she's convinced she probably belonged in the first place.
--- just entering the process of recording songs that won't make you want to rip your own face off and eat it for dinner. and one day those songs will blossom into a real live full length CD that you can hold in your little hands and cuddle when you are lonely!! until then...these sad rough drafts will have to be enough to hold you through. it will probably be tough. but you can handle it.

(and, for the record, (no pun intended) (oh please forgive that horrible pun) half the songs have been re-written to include things like... meter changes, lyric changes, puppies, kittens, and glitter. so there really will be something to look forward to. promise.)
