Hey, I'm Mark Wade, a 23-year-old singer/songwriter from Salem, Oregon. Five years ago I decided I wanted to start writing songs, so I learned the guitar the best I could. Two years ago I decided I wanted to start recording songs at home, and that's what you hear. One year ago Young Life gave me the opportunity to play music at Malibu Club in British Columbia, and for a month I shared my stuff with 1,400 high school kids. That was the point that I realized I will do this for the rest of my life. Write songs, record them, and share them with you. Hope you find some inspiration, love, hope, faith, and common ground in the words spoken through me.

Mark, Eric Scofield gave me your CD as an Easter gift. Our family is enjoying it a lot - especially Forevermore. I'm not a fan of the rap genre, but I was amazed at the sweetness of your music and how well you communicate the mystical truths of the faith. I was also intrigued with your missions experience and connection to Brasil. You should check out St. Romanos the Melodist, a 5th century Christian composer noted for his hymns of deep theological content. Another source of profound inspiration is St. Ephraim the Syrian (aka Harp of the Holy Spirit). CHRIST is RISEN from the dead, by death HE has TRAMPLED down death, and to those in the tombs HE is BESTOWING LIFE! Wade, you're a stud.... Look at all of those freaking comments its like you own the place (virb that is). Anyway, I am writing this to you on my new macbook, in my new house, about to have my first meal here - a crappy bowl of campbell's soup. Anyways. Getting settled in, and trying to get stuff put together. Hope that things are going well. Heard you made it up to Seattle for a Jordan Preview. Hope that it was good. Can't wait till you get down here, I'll show you the place. PEACE
