Residing in Strasbourg, France, a quiet city near the German border, Malik developed a strong interest in music from an early age. Being inspired by Cypress Hill, RZA and Jimi Hendrix throughout his adolescence, Malik was always destined to discover the vast world of sampling. Frequently visiting his local disposal store, Malik soon discovered the immense cache of used records and soon developed a taste for sampling jazz, funk and reggae.
After a few wasted years at university and some part time jobs, he now works part time at a cinema, which also provides most of the inspiration for his music. Currently, Malik draws his inspiration from artists such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis, James Brown, Serge Gainsbourg, Lee Scratch Perry, Madlib, DJ Premier and DJ Krush...

hey merci pour l'ajout! J'apprécie vraiment ta musique, et j'aurais aimé avoir pu la découvrir quand je bossais rue du faisan à strasbourg l'hiver dernier ! Yep, terrible tes sons mec, ça fait plaisir à entendre, bien, bien, moi aussi j'ai bloké en premier sur jimi;) bonnes vibes see u space cowboy! ah ouai et puis kan je lis tes influences j'm'y retrouve pas mal (héhé doom,madlib,quas,la blaxploit,lee perry, bref jvai pas les répeter ms le compte y est!)
