Makeoutclub is a an online community for punks, indierockers, hardcore kids, emo nerds, record collectors, self-denying hipsters, music whores, know-it-alls, shy bedroom sitting geeks, lovers, and internet daters.
Created in 2000 from a bedroom in Boston by an art school student who worked at a coffee shop, MOC is a labor of love created by, and made for, the online underground.
Long before the era of Friendster, Myspace, Facebook, and Youtube, Makeoutclub.com brought people together on what would be the first "social networking" website ever.

Once upon a time, I checked my e-mail and was pleased to see that I had moc mail! A guy from Austin, TX named Sam had come across my profile and e-mailed me a list of all the random things he kept on his desk. Later I found out that it was my friend from school. What a creep.
