This is a side project. I got a 3/4 size classical guitar in January and started to learn how to play it. Being a bass player by trade, this was a new frontier! No amps, no dirt, no rock 'n' roll... just the sound coming out of the hole. I got ideas as I learnt to play songs by José González, Sons of Korah, Ace Enders (of The Early November) and Damien Rice. I really liked the raw and under-produced sound of those artists and thought I would have a crack at doing my own sort of thing. I felt 'rainy day music' would suit as a title for this collection of material and in doing so I have put the soundtrack to a beautiful thunderstorm behind the music. If you listen closely you will hear it blowing and cracking away. Enjoy.
