Say it with me now LUH - G - AH !!!! The band LIGEIA emerges from areas of Western Massachusetts and Conneticut, the members of Ligeia joined together after past failures with band names that never need to be uttered. Ligeia has been touring DIY straight since they started the band in late 2003 and played just over 300 shows in the last year. Ligeia has raged across the U.S. and Canada many times as well as pulling stunts in the U.K., Belgium, and The Netherlands. They have toured with such bands as Remembering Never, Haste The Day, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Misery Signals, Ion Dissonance, Ringworm, August Burns Red, Ed Gein, From A Second Story Window, Dead to Fall, Heavy Heavy Low Low, and played countless shows with numerous other awsome bands. Their debut record Your Ghost is a Gift was recorded in December 2004 by Ken Susi of Unearth and released in late March 2006 on Ferret Music.

So what the hell is Ligeia anyways? Pretend to care now because you won't once you actually find out. Believe it or not it's a girls name, imagine that, its a hot, dead female. Well they don't really know if she was hot or not, but we can all just pretend. It's also a story by a dead author, Edgar Allen Poe. He married his cousin, and the band thinks thats pretty bad ass.
