I am Kate.
I love life and doing life with others.
I enjoy sushi, coffee, chocolate, blueberry muffins, colorful salads, pita bread, and applesauce. Spicy food makes my face feel like it's going to fall off.
I dislike going into a bathroom stall and realizing there is no toilet paper until it's too late.
I have 5 piercings, been to 4 continents, have 3 cameras, 2 brothers, and 1 God.
I like color, sound, and surprises. Confetti and sprinkles play an important role in my life.
I dislike squeaky girls, sticky hands, and soggy shoes. Getting my heart broken is no fun either.
I like watching cloud formations and I think conspiracy theories are fun.
Nuns intrigue me and sometimes I pretend I'm a ninja.
The accordion is my new instrument of choice and I already have 3 songs down, including Happy Birthday.
God is currently directing me to be a photographer and to use my photography as a way of raising awareness of the needs of oppressed people. I dislike it when people claim ignorance and are satisfied to live in it.
I love old people and hanging out at nursing homes. I believe people's stories are beautiful and necessary, for they bear witness to humanity doing life together.
"These three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is Love."
I spend every day striving to love as Christ loves, see as He sees, and do as He did.
I am imperfect, flawed, and wretched but I am claimed, loved, and used by God. I am a beautiful letdown.
Words can only say so much and I can't use them to define me, so I'll stop now.

So, I came to Los Angeles not knowing what to expect. It's practically a miracle that I'm here in the first place. I've decided that LA is the best place to read a classic novel in public. Well, perhaps New York is better, but the people of Los Angeles are more apt to stri...

An Office party huh? I'd looooove to drive a few hours for a 30 minute show. No problem. For me...every Thursday is an Office, Scrubs and Grey's Anatomy party. Every Monday is a Heroes party. And starting in February, every Wednesday is a huge blowout Lost jamboree. I watch too much tv apparently : )

do you want to go to Africa and work for a reputable NGO who builds wells? Can you pay your own way and leave the first week of November? Know anyone who can. Let me know.
