going out just doesn't hold the same allure as it once did....maybe its cause i turn 40 in 3 months...maybe its because i have a wife a kid and another on the way.....maybe its cause i am too picky and i like good conversation......living in Nashville, i can truly say, puts a limiter on where and whence i go.....to be honest, my PA and friend as many of you know, Julie Kristine, goes out just about every night.....i wonder what it was like when i felt that way.....when i went through my divorce and moved to LA as a bachelor....then i went OUT.....i mean....with abandon......music, dancing, eating, drinking, taking it all in......but now my lovely wife Amanda makes me a lovely roast and we toast to our children as we retire in the tub....i fall asleep watching a film at midnight....it is grotesque....i am becoming an adult.....my body is changing...i have to workout everyday to lose the tummy fat......i never had this problem in highschool, college or on the road.....my thoughts are about the making of money and not the making of music or poetry or art....everything is responsibility driven.....everything is deliberate.....save me from myself.....;)....so as i rant i am getting ready to go out tonight....the wife has given me sanction.....i am to have 2 and then drive home responsibly......no motorbike at night....just the family SUV and my manager waiting for me at a respectable table.......life as an adult is all about growing up. and it fits.

tommorow night marks a career opportunity for me....singing onstage at B.B.Kings in Nashville with Joanne Cash, sister of Johnny....come see us both and be a part of the Nashville Publicity Group birthday party in conjunction with the 2007 GMA conference.
Also on teusday night i will be playing at The Rutledge, downtown Nashville...both shows slated for around 10pm.
