Fair thee well Faerie
as the long bionic arm of industry
rips out the soul of your nest
the forest for the trees
no longer holds or leaves
its innocence
and likened unto thee
is the music
of our day
we have forgotten how to play
melodies
simple melodies
we sing inbetween machines
and accountants choose our dreams
so i say
chop it all down
cut it all up
down to the nub
until it grows again.
Only kevin MAX's friends can comment on this.
Pastor Chris says:
Rub-a-dub-dub
right "down to the nub"

rising from the ash,
a modern day phoenix ,
opening leave strewn arms
to house new life,
pride lost,
but not forgotten.
