Fresh everything

I spent the two hours that I now set aside for lunch cooking up a storm. It looked like vegetables threw up in my kitchen. There was lots of smoke, and a few very small fires in the oven (apparently olive oil and broiling don't mix so well).

Difficult Lives

Working with the young women that I do tests my mental capacities at times. Last night, meeting together with a full group we had one girl who was visibly depressed and I know that she suffers from depression because of her past abuse. My heart simply breaks for her. I can see in her eyes the hurt and desperation that she is living in and I want so badly to lift that off her shoulders.
