tIME TO sKATe May 6
Not much to say other than it looks like the band thing is coming to an end. I believe I am okay with it. I think I feel okay. I plan on playing here and there. Just not as intense as I had in the past. I think I will get out a skate a little more. I am out of shape any way. I need someting to help me quit smoking.
Life and something like it! Jan 17
I sat down to start writing this on 1/17/08. A lot of things have happened since I started this blog. As you can tell I have a very short attention span. It is now 3/29/08 and I am just now getting around to completing this...............
The year started out pretty normal. BtV, our new band, started writing and practicing like we always do. Brian, Jason, and I are hard at work knocking out some good music. Last Wednesday we tried out a vocalist. It went pretty good. I can't wait to work with him again. About a month ago we jammed with the remaining members of a local band called The Phoenix Syndrome. The vocalist thought we were too heavy but the bass player was in to it. Needless to say, he was a no show at our last practice. I guess he took himself out of the picture. Too bad, he was a rock solid bass player. This time around, it has been very difficult finding new people to jam with. Thus far we have tried out 6 vocalists and 3 bass players. This process is quite trying, especially since I have about as much patience as a new born. Luckily Jason has been working out since day one!!!
My brother passed just right before my b-day in Feb. Sadly, I did not know him all that well, but it was painful none the less. His life was tragically plagued with non stop drug and alcohol abuse. He finally succumbed to the demons that have chased him since childhood. Now he feels no more pain or sorrow. May he finally rest in peace.
In mid march I finally got some new ink. Check it out in my pics section. It was done by Jeremy Shock at FATCO. Since then we have started to become friends. It is extremely hard to make new friends at my age. You don't have that innocent trust like you did as a younger person. He is a real cool cat. We are tossing around some more tat ideas. Very soon he will be fixing some older tattoos of mine.
The fam is doing fine. Kids are growing and life is flowing right along. This is all I have for now. Until next time........

New, new, music project! Dec 12
If you skimmed over the last blog then this new entry will make perfect sense. If you did not, take some time and go read it. The information just might save your life. After hooking up with Ed and jamming for about a month, he had to leave abruptly. I am not sure what the underlined meaning for his dismissal , but I personally feel he was not in to it! That is fine, I can't please every one with my playing. It was fun for the short time it lasted. He had a really good voice and a brutal scream. Since then, we have jammed with a guy named Josh. He replied to a poster I placed at our local Guitar Center. He has a lot of potential but his influences are a bit dated. I am still on the fence about him. It could go either way! We are supposed to play with a guitar player we found on bandmix.com. I am excited about this. He has the same influences and looks like we might click. More details on that later!
I like to do it!
I love, love, love movies. I have a ton of them. To many to list. I will watch any thing atleast once!
