Background Info
I got my first guitar on eBay for 80 dollars in the summer of 2002 and have been playing ever since. I am mostly self taught with a little guidance along the way from various professionals and friends. I started writing music and lyrics almost as soon as I learned how to strum my first chords.
Songs are mainly acoustic rhythms with an electric lead solo, both parts are written by myself. The solo's are mainly improv, though sometimes I'll spend the time to write something specific for the song.
Instruments I play
Guitars:
Takamine EG-334SC
Epiphone Les Paul Classic
which I'm looking to trade up to an american strat when i can afford to do so.
I would just like to say:
I continue to learn and experiement with new styles and feels of music. So please feel free to comment and give me advice. This is something I enjoy doing and in no way concider myself a professional. Thank you for your time and enjoy the music. Feel free to add me to your friends list.

Popping in from the "Unsigned Artists" group. Fun! Listening to "One Wish" and the guitar part is pretty interesting, but the thing that jars me the most is the vocal style. I can see it as working better in a more free-form style of music, but my personal opinion is that you need to focus on intonation more. You often hover around the center of the note rather than hitting it and the song is too structured to really have such a loose vocal center. It sounds like you're messing up rather than doing it intentionally. In "Medicated Fool" the vocals work much better actually. Not a bad song! Kind of catchy actually. I'm digging it... Actually, I'd have to say that your vocal style best works in a kind of droney line akin to some 70s rock bands. I'm liking the vocals in "The War Goes On" as well. Your guitar playing seems pretty strong over-all. As for recording, maybe toss in a little reverb to even out the tone, it's awfully dry! Not bad really, but it does tend to emphasize weaknesses rather than strengths. Great for practice, not so good for presentation. Keep up the good work!
