I've recently written a few more songs. The lyrics can be viewed on the second blog post. This is a brief overview of what I've been up to lately.

Last week I went to Music Camp up at Camp Prince's Pines, and performed a song I wrote called "Your Name." This song was recorded by the honorable Greg Rommann, and has now made the album 11 songs instead of 10. I'll post it here as soon as I possibly can for your listening pleasure, so check back!

Same bad-quality recordings, but brand-spankin' new songs. Please enjoy to your heart's content.

When I first bought this album, I was disappointed that one of my favorite bands could have taken such a dull turn. The music of this album is definitely so original, that it is hard to get used to, and the lyrics seemed tiresome and meaningless to me. But as I listened to this CD more and more my enjoying the style, and my comprehension of this beautifully themed CD grew together. Perhaps this commentary will aid others in their understanding of this somewhat cryptic work of art by Copeland.

The Lonely Forest's first full-length album has been one of my favorites since I first got it. It's an album that tells the story of a dying world. Something akin to Fahrenheit 451. I personally give this CD a 9.5 out of 10 on excellence.

This is a song I wrote with the much-needed aid of a dictionary. It's funny how I can write songs like this, even though I've never even really had a girlfriend. I guess that's just the way it works sometimes. I don't have the music worked out perfectly yet, but here are the lyrics.
