A young teenage girl came up to me after a show, she said to me "I am really surprised, because I took a good look at you and thought that you would be a typical quiet, reserved, mellow female folk artist, and to my surprise you are far from it. Your voice is like a monster. It's a good thing though. I love your music."
And so it stuck, with me, a monsterous, powerful voice, hidding inside a young woman's heart.
I have a lot to say, who doesn't though, I just say it through my music. Except you can ask my husband, he will tell you I have plenty to say with out my music, you just need to get to know me.
My friends, family, work, home, trials, life in general, it inspires me. I sit down and think about it and I find the beauty in it and make something of it, music.
May you enjoy my music, if you don't that is okay to, but please give it a chance.
I desire to bring a reality of hope.
Music can paint a picture of hope, and hope keeps our hearts alive.
Thanks for listening,
Jess Strantz
