Sometimes I wake up and ask myself: How much luck can one person attract? But then I remember - luck is just the mortar, experience and accomplishment are the bricks.
I live in Bushwick Brooklyn with my lovely wife. We moved to New York in 2002 and haven't looked back since. The best city full of the best people in America! As big a pain as New York can be, she just gives and and gives on a daily basis.
I design websites, work flow tools and innovate the online marketing process. I currently work for one of the major record label groups. Before that, I used to work for one of the other majors. It's a tough time all around to be sure.
We're all working to un-fuck things as best we can. Our backs are against the wall to be sure. Sales have plummeted lately. But here's the deal - music has real value. Most people would prefer to buy rather than steal as long as it's easy, flexible and reasonably priced.
We are working on it. I promise. Too much blood has been spilled by too many co-workers to let the whole show slide off the cliff. Stay tuned.
