It's been a bust week in matters of launching web-sites. Earlier in the week I launched the new AndrewBorghesani.com and now I've launched the brand new Healthier-Environments.com! Healthier-Environments.com is the latest brand from my dad's paper company and specializes in green and environmentally friendly cleaning and paper products.

This was very much a father-son project as my dad handled the business side - mostly getting the products online and the technical things while I handled the design elements which included a complete branding strategy as well as designing the web-site, which is run using ZenCart, an e-commerce software we decided to use.
The logo is meant to suggest an environmentally friendly atmosphere so naturally we went with a green color scheme and the circle design is a sort of abstract representation of a flower or a starburst. The web-site then reflects this idea through a prominent use of green and the recurring gradients. Yellow was then used as a compliment and to brighten up the overall design.

This was my first foray into e-commerce and working with e-commerce software as well as PHP and it was quite the challenge working through the obstacles that arose with that but for the most part, we were able to figure out what we needed and get the idea on to the site.
