JamiroFan2000 says:

High Times - The Singles 1992-2006: Becoming the last "sticking point" to fulfilling their 8 album deal with Sony/BMG, JK, with a heavy heart agreed to the label releasing a "greatest hits" compilation to finish Jamiroquai's contractual obligation to them. With some "proper and sorely needed" audio remastering of the Jamiroquai music catalogue of singles, and the addition of 2 new Jamiroquai songs, little did JK that "High Times" would end up being a BEST SELLING album in Europe debutting at #2 on the UK album charts the first week of release. The new Jamiroquai songs, 'Runaway', influenced by the impending Jamiroquai departure from Sony/BMG, and the GLORIOUS "Radio", which would mark another musical departure for the band emoting alot of "Red Hot Chili Peppers Funk" on it, would end up being revelled by fans for being yet more proof of Jamiroquai's musical mastery, even through the annoying inception of High Times. Though High Times DOES miss ALOT of Jamiroquai's PRIME singles (Mostly from the ROTSC-TWOM era, notably: Stillness In Time, Canned Heat & The Kids), it still stood very well as a "bookend" to the "Sony/BMG years" of Jamiroquai hallmarking 15+ years of reinvigorating Acid Jazz/Funk Fusion and empowering and embolding dance music for a whole new generation.
