RED LETTER AGENT
THE DAYLIGHTS

Music has been a part of me since birth. My mother tells me stories of
dancing & singing with me while she was carrying me around in her tummy.
My dad is a classical pianist, so music was constantly in the air around my house.
Around the age four/five, my father began teaching me piano. Typical of a kid, I did the
opposite of what the parents wanted me to do... I picked up some drums sticks
at my uncles and started beating. Eventually, I learned that there was more to it than
just beating. I played trumpet in the junior high marching band (6 & 7th grade). I sang in
various musical plays that my father coordinated. I picked up the guitar around age 13
and didn't get serious until about 15/16 and I just kept on playing ever since. I think the
diversity of instruments plays a major role in my songwriting. It helps you to hear from every
position. I wrote my first song around the end of my senior yr. in high school. I didn't seriously start
singing/songwriting until my sophomore and junior year of college at Georgia
Southern University. I have been in several bands since then; currently Red Letter Agent.
Singing and guitar are the main focus for me right now. I enjoy songwriting.
I am learning to communicate in this language of music...
I am in love w/ the most beautiful woman, Natasha Templeton, my wife.
