I am...not good at writing these things. I battle a little with what to write here because I don't want to sound soft on what I really am and that's a sold out follower of Jesus Christ longing to see the Kingdom of God come and completely transform this broken world. My name is Michael Packard, "The Way" thing is about how Christians have been misunderstood from the begin and mostly because we don't often comunicate well. The Way was what most Romans call Christianity in the early days and one of their best misunderstandings was that people of The Way were cannibals because we at the flesh of their crucified leader. I love that Christianity can look that crazy from the outside looking in. I hope that some of the links you find on this site will leading to people or organization that would change the way you view following Jesus. I hope that some of my blogs would allow you to join me in struggling to understand who Jesus is as He is revealed in the Bible. I hope most of all that I don't sound to arrogant because I just broken like the rest of you. So there's a little of my heart in the skin deep way that this site lets you bare it, I'll leave the rest of what I wrote when I first signed up for myspace with some updated details.
I have done so many different things in the last 9 years from becoming a massage therapist to teaching bible stories to kids in Africa. My life is an attempt to balance out what I am passionate for, with what I need to do to survive. However, I have been blessed to have a job that improves peoples lives while supporting my need to be up root my life at a moments notice. I have met a small army of incredible people in my lifetime (guess that is probably pretty common). I regret that I have let some of those people slip away. I am single but most of my peers are getting hitched nowadays. I think 35 will be a nice time to settle down (I will be turning 27 in May 07) any takers ladies. So there is a little about me.
