Caught in between genres, In Times of Distress has combined its various influences of screamo, hardcore, post-hardcore and pop-punk genres of music to express their own interpretation of an emerging style of music taking over the music scene. From upbeat tempos to intense breakdowns, shattering screams to melodic singing, they have certainly become a group to watch out for in 2008. This young band from Merced, California has accomplished so much in the its span of two years. They have shared the stage with the likes of Blessthefall and Escape The Fate and also won a spot to play on the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands stage at the 2007 Warped Tour in Fresno, California. The promise of this band is shown through their captivating live performance, which will leave you asking for more.
