About
William C. Davis, Jr., has been an illustrator and comic book reader since the age of five years old. Inspired by the innovative and groundbreaking work of Jim Lee, Frank Miller, John Byrne, Alex Ross, and Todd McFarlin in the late 1980's and early 1990's, Corey, as family and friends affectionately call him, begin developing (at the ripe old age of twelve years old) the characters and storyline which would serve as the foundation for the Ezerea: Tales of the Zauberer saga (both of which would go through a major transformation during his three year stint at the Center for Creative Studies located in the Wayne State University district, Detroit, Michigan).
Ezerea: Tales of the Zauberer, the graphic novel, represents the culmination of over five years of hard work, dedication, pain, blood, sweat, and just a few tears, and while the project has been completed for over two years being sporadically self-published in limited editions under the moniker Infinite Studios, and receiving rave reviews from mainstay comic book fanzines and trade publications, it has just now become available for widespread public consumption.
For mature readers who love fantasy, sci-fi, and adventure, Ezerea: Tales of the Zauberer is just what the doctor ordered. Rich in lore with an ingenious storyline this opus centers around Ezerea, daughter of King Naga, princess of the land of Agea. Gifted with a high spirit and an eagerness to learn, Ezerea is sent by her father to Jhoquela (an enchantress supreme) to become a zauberer and eventually master her true strength...magic. This is when all the action and excitement begins!!!
Surrounded by a distinctive cast of characters which include Qlowie, the sole survivor of a powerful, but peaceful reptilian race annihilated by the rancorous D'menstorm and his minions; Imborue, a Ka'jukai, half-man, half-lion beast, and Ezerea's protector; Emerald Master, a proxy ofthe Omniscient, dedicated to the rescindment of all that is evil; and finally D'menstorm, a formidable and puissant adversary of the Omniscient bent of Ezerea's destruction; Ezerea: Tales of the Zauberer, the graphic novel, proves to be "a saga for the keeping."
