Hi there and thanks for visiting my page. My name is Tony. To give you some background I've written a little something about myself here, as well as included some great quotes to your right by noteworthy people for your enjoyment.
My first exposure to photography was a very timid one studying graphic design in college about 10 years ago. I started off shooting in 35 mm, mainly B&W. And I still am, though regretably I dropped it for about 6 years. I guess I didn't think I had it in me. Since then I found I really missed shooting and it has grown into something of an obsession. I think you understand perfectly. I knew that if I applied myself I could do pretty well. I'm not really sure what my style is yet but so far I enjoy shooting just about anything. I'm still growing with it as it comes.
Most of what you see here is film. So far. =) I just made the digital leap and I'm really excited to discover what's ahead. Who knows, one day I may even be as good as you? I have much to learn so please, feel free to check out my photos and leave your comments under each one you view. I would very much appreciate your critique. Virb is the perfect community for photographers to connect and be an encouragement to one another, and growth on every level is definitely exponential here.
If we become friends - and I hope we do - you'll be known on my page as one of ma 'Peeps'. Just because you're that special. *smiles* Thanks again friend, and enjoy!
Walk On, Adam Dec 2
Lately I've been wondering how Adam is doing. I've prayed for him. Shortly after we parted that night I wished we had talked more. I looked back as he walked off, now about 40 yards into the unknown before he disappeared around a corner on Champa Street. He was headed to Boulder first, then to Colorado Springs. (read more)
NOTE: be sure to read the first blog entry called 'Adventure' before proceeding. Thanks!
Adventure Dec 1
Adam is currently walking across the US with nothing but the clothes on his back. Starting from New York, his final destination is Los Angeles. Three months into his journey I met him on a chilly night in Denver, Colorado. Today he still walks. (read more)
