Biography

I Giocattoli di Clara were born in 1999 when Francesco Arrighetti (vocals and guitar),Enrico Arrighetti (drums),Dario Amato (bass) already playing toghether under other monikers,met Paolo Giacometti (guitar).
They went on playing as a punk rock cover band for several months (Nofx,Millencolin,No use for a name,Diesel boy,etc...),then they started writing their own songs.They wanted to release something with the sound of the bands they were used to listen while keeping their own native language.Time passes by and the band changes as the songs change.The line-up is modified once again,The singer stopped playingthe guitar to concentrate on the singer role and Giacomo Tota toghether with Rocco Iacobuzio joined the band as,respectively,guitar player and bass player.The first ep contains six tracks and was recorded in a basement in Turbigo in 2001.Three of the six tracks were re-recorded some years later for the second official release.The second cd is much longer than the previous one,it is a self-produced full-lenght cd and was born in 2005.This release contains fourteen songs inspired by life experiences and personal sensations.A great effort for the band and those who joined the entire creation precess.The cd was recorded at Gain Studios in Pavia (Italy) (www.gainstudios.com).We didn't support the cd too much,so it became a sort of "for friend only" cd, until we started to promote the songs thanks to our own myspace page: www.myspace.com/igiocattolidiclara.The end of 2006 is a rebirth for the band,the line-up,which changed once again,now includes Fabio Tinon (guitar) and Francesco Catucci (Vocals and backing vocals).It's a very positive moment for all of us as a band and a brand new cd is quickly recorded.The official release date is 05/01/07.The cd is recorded at Gain Studios in Pavia and it's completely self-produced but the help of some of our dearest friends and fans who physically contributed to create our brand new cd "Quando non ci stai + dentro".They are:Pillo Palazzoli from Kassapunk (www.kassapunk.com) ,Razvan Asaftei,Paolo Vaghi and the all female band management group "le ramones"(www.myspace.com/leramones).The cd is professionally printed and mastered,it can be purchased from our site our downloaded absolutely free of charge,you can just listen to our stuff or decide to burn it and make your own cd,but the original is very nice and looks really cool,the first print is limited to 500 copies so hurry up.All of our songs are double protected:we have the official S.I.A.E stamp on every copy and they are all protected with a Creative Commons licence.In conclusion,do what you want download,purchase,whatever....but spread our stuff if U like it!
