The Sit.
I'll be honest. I'm in a seriously effed up transition period.
It is one of those moments where you know the best thing you could do is let go of everything that requires you to put faith in another and focus solely on the goals and dreams that you alone are responsible for achieving.
It is more than the best thing you could do. It's probably the thing that will give you the best chance of surviving the most difficult battle waged between the heart and the mind. It's the only thing at this moment that finds those two entities of a person's pysche working together.
Let's just hope I have the resolve to keep moving forward down that path.
The Gare
For those that don't know who I am, I'm a published freelance photographer, I just launched my own online magazine/community called A.Refuge that is focused on creative people and those that enjoy the creative process and its results.
I'm also assisting the two founders of Artist in Residence. They are great guys with a great cause putting out a great publication. It is the first job I have taken outside of photography since 2004. I would not be a part of it if I didn't think it was sweet.
The bigger picture for all I strive to do is inspire and help others. I'm trying to build the biggest and most efficient vehicle/platform to do so.
I'm very very very passionate about the things I care about and love. I'm very very very apathetic about the things I don't care for.
I don't know what is to come for me in the future. All I know is I am going to work as hard as I can to achieve my goals and live my dreams. Until I'm dead I'll never give up, no matter how unlikely they sound.
