Hidden Hawaii Digital
The music imprint "Hidden Hawaii" was found in Berlin in 1998. You may have heard some of their earlier tunes on test pressings back in 1998, 2002 and 2003. Tunes like Felix K´s "Hidden" or "King of the City" were highly requested by abstract drum & bass fans, and received airplay at radio shows like radio massive or the early Loud.FM. After a little break, they now return with a load of advanced electronic music in the pipeline. Hidden Hawaii Digital has been created to bring you fresh deep tunes via Internet, as well as limited editions on vinyl. The spectrum of Hidden Hawaii ranges from drum & bass over house to exiting experimental electronical beats. The idea behind mixing different styles under one label is the belief that music cannot be reduced to certain types of beats, or certain amounts of bpm. "The digital medium allows us to try more experimental stuff and to focus on our musical ideas and our own definitions." But be careful! The Essence of Hidden Hawaii is always a deep powerful bassline. It will shake your body, your mind, basically your whole system. Watch out for releases by Felix K, Crackle Wizard, Double O and other great artists.
