I doubt anyone will catch this in time... though I guess that's my fault, I really should've posted this sooner. :( Well if you do catch this in time you should know that tonight, in a few hours (at Midnight), VH1 is going to air a Radiohead "concert": Radiohead: In Rainbows From The Basement. I'm not sure if this is something totally new or just a compilation of the In Rainbows podcast sessions... either way it's sure to be awesome. Catch it while you can! I wouldn't gamble on them reairing it much.

Youtube to the rescue, the entire sessions are now online. :D I feel Nude is the standout performance... absolutely beautiful, achingly so.

THOM YORKE expressive face

When you were here before,

couldn't look you in the eye.

You're just like an angel,

your skin makes me cry.

You float like a feather,

in a beautiful world

I wish I was special,

you're so fucking special.

Anyone else got their hands on In Rainbows Cd 2? What do you think about it? I think it's great as an extension to In Rainbows, and "Down Is The New Up" gets me EVERY time :)

"Jigsaw Falling Into Place", right now. But I've also been in a crush with "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi" and "Bodysnatchers"

kylesteeddesign says:

Yeah, "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi" is really great. Has anyone else noticed that "Videotape" sounds a lot like the Arcade Fire song "Neon Bible"?

Substantial [Sacrifice - In Stores Now] says:

Yeah I can't decide. I usually just put it in and listen to it in it's entirety 2 to 3 times. Such a great album.

I always listen through the whole album, so it changes for me quite often. Weird fishes/Arpeggi and Videotape are always good, but I really like 15 Step too.. There'll be another song to go on there by the end of this evening..

Funny you should ask paul... I just happened upon this page yesterday using the "track feature" for Twitter (I tracked "meme" by the way :P ).

Possible "In Rainbows" album art?

No problem, it just sucks that most of them are only 300x300. I use GIMP's default album art resolution: 715x709. Luckily, a lot of the posters have links to their personal websites, so if you ask nicely you might be able to score higher-res pics. By the by, I love the 1st, 6th and 46th posts. :D

You beat me to the punch, but I was horribly lazy. :P The whole "choose your own price" thing is really sweeping the blogosphere; making a lot of noise. I'd love to get the discbox set, but Christ $81??? I want those extra tracks on the bonus CD... and what happened to "Arpeggi"? I don't see it listed anywhere. :(

posted Oct 1

db says:

It's called something/Arpeggi now IIRC.

It's a massive tracklisting.

The single and double CDs will appear in stores in December/early 2008 as well, no doubt, for those who don't want all the artwork etc.

Yeah... saw a note from someone on Pownce about the notice. Kinda lame that the songs are only encoded at 160kbps, given the electronic medium they work in you'd think they'd be sensitive to maintaining sonic fidelity by offering something of a higher quality, at least 192kbps. But I suppose anyone that concerned about such things will wait to get their hands on a physical CD, which I'll be doing. More than anything, I'm just excited about what this all means for the music industry. Revolution.
