Mt. Everest Solo Expedition: Day One

I'm still bogged down in Apartment # 2 in Denver, Colorado. I was scheduled to begin climbing Mount Everest this morning but I can't find anyone to water my plants. Stupid neighbors. A crushing setback. In order to boost my sagging morale I rented the video Working Girl. Goodness can that Melanie Griffith act.

last season, i worked on mt. leconte in tennessee which is a backcountry lodge that you can only hike to. the cool thing is that they do not use electricity. it was awesomely secluded from the world.
