ya yeh... this software totally changed the way I write tracks... and play shows. Recently did a (sloppy) DJ mix of acid/electro stuff for a bar here in town... the recording can be found at the top of my page. It's the blog link.

Got a problem with my Ableton. The program starts a wierd popping and clicking making it ineffective to use any further after I have been working with it for about 45 mins. to an hour. The Latencey is down/readjusted and I am tired of losing my train of thought to restart. Any ideas?

first off, what kind of audio driver are you using, ASIO, direct x...? secondly have you adjusted the input or output buffer sizes in the preferences tab? my settings right now, are, input buffer= 7648, output buffer= 2778 , driver error compensation =8ms. The key is to get the output buffer size to a minimum, at a point just below where you have heard the last crackle. Make sure to turn the test tone on,and to hold down the cntrl key while decreasing the output buffer size..
Good luck, Sorry if you were already aware of this.
