Gahaha! i hate starbucks chai. It always tastes bitter to me. I think they use syrup now though.

Given the choice...I much prefer to make my own chai at home. There's also a local coffeehouse that I frequent that makes a pretty decent cup.

It tastes like chai with chambord in it, though it's not alcoholic. ;-) Which is really unfortunate sometimes.

I see they also make apple chai, though I can't vouch for that one.

some stuff may be hard to find, we have little india here so theres tons of shops up there that sell all the ingredients in bulk so that was nice.
