I love my Nikon equipment. I have a bunch of it that I have been collecting and using for the last 11 years and it really never lets me down. This is a photo I shot of a wedding. Hope you like.

I've had a nikon of some kind in my location bag since the late 70's and, gotta admit I love the quirky medical doodads nikon released way back then, ringlights, split focus filters and, as in the shot below, the infamous PC lens which, when coupled to a rigged macro bellows allowed me subjective focus and still keep perspective somewhat normal.

Nikon D40x
Papa's Got A Brand Neeeeeeew BAG!
Christmas came early for me today. First new post cards and now DSLR. I essentially traded Cordula for this guy. Just picked it up from the camera store.
I've been using my trusty Nikon Coolpix 4500 for 4 years now. I still love it. The swivel body is genius and I think would be on most every point and shoot today if people understood how helpful it is. The lens and MP's are just too small to document paintings. Having a real a lens that'll take in some serious light will be perfect for my often low light reference shots. Not to mention file sizes larger than 2k pixels.
There are only two companies i have Mac-Fan like loyalty to. They're Google and Nikon.
What are you shooting with/ is on your wish list.

Pictures from last night's Seth Bernard and Daisy May Concert for the Black Cat Concert Series. Great Live Music in a 150 yr old barn on a late summer night....what more could you ask for.

Cheers,

Thanks, a little bit natural lighting and a little bit Photoshop always makes for great lighting situations.
