Even it there is some missing functions in adium, it still the best messenging program of it all. I just hate his defult sound library that i changed for another one!

weird. i just wrote a big ol reply and apparently got an error in the process.

anyways, i was saying that that'd be sweet but i think its a long ways off because the different chat programs (msn, aim etc) each use a different method of supporting video in their clients. also, interfacing between mac and pc is a bit of a roadblock from what i understand.

I looked into this a while ago; it appears that the Pidgin folks were in fact working on Video functionality, but it was going on in multiple places, and at the time (6 months ago maybe?) they were working on consolidating the codebase. This was 6 months to a year ago so my memory may be failing me but at the very least I can say I remember them saying they were working on it.
