The Genius Of The Crowd - Charles Bukowski
"there is enough treachery, hatred violence absurdity in the average
human being to supply any given army on any given day
and the best at murder are those who preach against it
and the best at hate are those who preach love
and the best at war finally are those who preach peace
beware the average man the average woman
beware their love, their love is average
seeks average
but there is genius in their hatred
there is enough genius in their hatred to kill you
to kill anybody
not wanting solitude
not understanding solitude
they will attempt to destroy anything
that differs from their own
not being able to create art
they will not understand art
they will consider their failure as creators
only as a failure of the world
not being able to love fully
they will believe your love incomplete
and then they will hate you
and their hatred will be perfect
like a shining diamond
like a knife
like a mountain
like a tiger
like hemlock
their finest art"

I know I said I probably wouldn't join echo, because I doubted I fit in here - but I just read your car-keying post (and yes - 2000 characters are never enough when you want a full-blown rant) and I now know that I NEED to be in here.
I would key every single car I see parked outside the lines, on disabled spaces (if they're not), anywhere they choose to abandon their cars, at an angle across two spaces, close - but not close enough to the next car so that no one can park (and far, but not far enough apart leaving just enough room for a car that can swivel its wheels sideways to park, but not otherwise), people who open their doors regardless of the fact that they are parked too close to avoid banging the side of your door, people with trolleys that roll away into the side of the car parked adjacent, people with trolleys who stop for a chat in the middle of the road, people (probably you actually!) who leave their doors wide open while they ferry their shopping back and forth when they know someone wants to park...and all that's before you even get into the hell-hole that is called a supermarket here in the UK...
I have no time to continue but I'll be back..
thanks for the invite!

I wouldn't have keyed your car - I never have done that, but it wouldn't have stopped me wanting to! (not yours, you sound like you were in the right there).
Thanks - I'll be around but I'm working at the moment (can't you tell??)
