When i was a wee painter in art lessons i was taught to paint each hair on the eyebrows to make the look real.

You couldn't tell from the original progress shots but below the blue green was a bright yellow under-underpainting. When the cracking begins you can see it show up.
Chris who runs SarahSilvermanonline.com has been following the progress shots of my painting of Sarah. He found me through a blog search. He'd asked to put it on the site I told him I'd be fine with it as long as he would forward the painting to Sarah.
I know Sarah eyeballs the site from time to time and has even been interviewed by them. I hope she enjoys the painting and is interested in owning it.
You can find progress shots here.

Hey everyone! I have a question for all of you!
What inspires your paintings?

Usually inspiration comes at 2 in the morning after a particularly interesting dream.
But it also comes when walking around a cities downtown area.

fedex ground works pretty well, they normally get it there before they say they will and it is a fraction of the cost of their express service. The ULINE company makes(as well as the AIRFLOAT crate company) cardboard crates for paintings, You just need to make sure they the people or gallery you are sending the painting to, send the crate back to you. And the part of the question to make it someone elses responsibility is tricky--I think UPS actually will insure artwork up to 60,000 bucks-- and it wont cost extra--so i have been told.
