The Battle of Los Angeles has to be my favorite album. Yeah it's all pretty awesome, but that one is definitely my favorite.

They are playing in Chicago on August 24th.
Tom "The NightWatchman" Morello is a Chicago boy, so it goes without saying that he comes through all the time. Although be warned that his solo music is distinctly different then what you hear from him in RATM.

It's sad that I live in Iowa, but if there's any chance in hell, I am going to try my damn hardest to make it to Cali this April. It's gonna be fuckin' sick.

I think Rage Against the Machine is one of the most influential bands of the past 20 years, if not ever. Their music says what everyone is thinking but is too scared to say publicly. I honestly hope they do some type of final album, or maybe play a couple older albums in a concert series. With 9/11, the war, and the state of the USA and the world I think we need RATM more than ever.

I Totally Agree with that!!! we need more RATM and more bands like them... Rise Against, Bad Religion, System Of a Down are down with teh cause... I'm so glad that more people think the same. We can make a difference.

Anyone hopeful for another RATM album? I didn't think there was any hope just a couple months ago, but first the Coachella news, then the Audioslave news, a bit more recently Rage announced they were going to do some more stuff live with Wu Tang...so now I actually have my hopes up that they will reunite...especially considering the current political situation in America/world...and the 08 elections right around the corner...hmm :)

I definitely hope for a reunion. I think that would be awesome. They broke up before I ever seriously started listening to them but now they're played 50% more than anything else in my music library. If they ever play within 400 or 500 miles of my town, I'm there.
