Just curious: was anyone attached to the old icon?
The new one is less iconic, of course, but I find it rather lovely -- and it's the very image that was on the cover of the first Sherlock Holmes book I read when I was little, so there's a certain sentimental quality for me. If anyone liked the old version, I'll change it back.
You know what? Forget I said anything. I've fallen in love with this image all over again; no way am I going back to the silhouette now. The old one's the obvious choice, of course (either that, or Holmes with his pipe or violin), but the new one simply overflows with atmosphere.
While searching for an icon for this group, I momentarily considered using this, before it occurred to me that few fans are likely to share my sense of humour.
