HI GUYS!.... fore score an some years ago.. i uh... wait.. the computer is saying stuff..
nope.. just a tree.. ha ha silly me...
anyways.. hi im divit.. the one infamous of the all of something i dunno i forgot.. an then regret... or maybe... its the half done an for the evenly noted.. an nothing we can do about it, YAY.... oh well... DESTROY THE MEDIA...
but in real news.. Cell processors.. the flux of quantum is upon the horizon.. as Sony puts a laptop/and the Playstation3 in the Market.. an can answer simaltaniously.. which that is, as you ask the question it knows the answer before you even push enter.. thats quantum frequency for ya(well getting there anyways.)... but yes... LEAVE IT TO THE JAPANEESE.. TO OPEN A PARALLEL universe just by using quantum computing.. in a fancy Viao Laptop.... Intresting.. quite.. yes so.. yes maybe.. yes.. an as the cpu says... 1..
yes...
anyways.. what is the profit of using the new Cell processor engines computers will have in the soon future?!.. you just wondered!! very expensive(till in mass production).. very amazing.. very computer revolutionizing.. graphics/games so reall.. YOU WILL BELIEVE IT IS A PARALLEL UNIVERSE!! an what is your profit you gain out of the concept!?!!!? you wonder!?.. googling at LIGHT SPEED, faster pop up ads!!!.... computers that might READ YOUR MIND!!! and... that Yahoo! search, ALREADY GUESSES WHAT YOU ARE WANTING TO LOOK FOR... because... its in the future.. or its in the past future.. or the future deletion of old search content in QUANTUM COMPUTING.. goes.. to the.... past... or.. hmm, where does internet content go to when.. it sits there.. in quantum??.. who knows!?!? IT ALL MAKES SENSE...
yes!
any questions?!?! stop go 0 1 Geico

ha ha u missed spelled riddle.. and no there is none in there but hey.. i always enjoy a good riddle..
which also.. the processor isn't quantum.. but the cell design removes the switch mechanism of the processor.. making processing power more rapidly or quicker.. which revolves what i said, it makes the quantum computing "on the horizon".. the cell processor is more like.. a fraction of what a quantum cpu could do.. but..
WITH just a current of electricity in a coordinated frequency.. no switches that isss.. which if you know how a processor works.. where a average processors insides is a bunch of chambers that flip open an close(switches), conducting a electrical charge to energize a circuit board.. an with the cell processor technology.. it removes the switches.. an allows a distributor to coordinate a frequency current to processes/collaborate in unison from the mother board to other components on that system.. making the whole computing power.. FAR more powerful, far more faster.. which merges the technology of computing onto that horizon.. which if you understood how quantum works.. you would know that the quantum reaction energy is parallel.. creating.. a quicker response because.. which in computing the circuit would runs simultaneously as the data is pushed, practically instintaniously.. which will widen the range of computing power an graphic designs to an incredible level.. within the coming year..
or in other words.....
it be faster then superman on crack... uhh huh..

Yeah, they were written by PKD's personal friend K. W. Jeter. I don't know if they're any good, though. I'm sure they aren't nearly as good as the original.

Yeah... I have them too. They're actually not bad at all , especially if you like both the film and the original Dick novel that it was very loosely based on.
There's no ebook for any of them. I seriously doubt that anyone would take the time to scan them, either.

Cyberpunk music.... I guess that any industrial-type music would qualify... I know that's what i'd turn to for a cyberpunk ambiance...

I guess you are right .. but not any industrial type ... i'd like to think that the initial bandas from the 80s still are the bests ... now the music turn up to be commmercial .. lije rave and on MTV. Nobody plays the good stuff from the past .. Does anyone now a good Internet Radio ?

annihilation [floating upon little pink pills] says:
depends if you see cyberpunk as belonging to the 80s or being just ahead of where we are now.
if it's the 80s then the music already exists... but if it is somewhere ahead then it doesn't and you're left to identifying present trends in music from which the musicians of that place will come out of.
that said i think the sort of chippy techno made from old game systems [gameboys or even c64s] is where to start.. it has that taking of technology and using it to a somewhat different purpose which is part of the cyberpunk style.
unfortunately the stuff i've found tends to be somewhat of a cheery feel than what the genre entails..... but i've only just started looking into the area enjoying the couple of things i've found on virb and then begun tracing them back to internet labels and working through their catalogues...]
haha... so does anyone know anything in that area?

If we're talking about modern musical genres, I'd say the dubstep movement is pretty dystopian and/or cyberpunk-y. It's heavily influenced by Jungle/Drum N Bass which someone already mentioned as being a cyberpunk musical genre and is overwhelmingly dark. If anyone is interested I can shoot some files your way, but as a general introduction I would take a look at artists like: Burial, Kode9, Benga, Virus Syndicate, Loefah, Boxcutter, or the BBC1 compilation "Mary Anne Hobbes Presents: Warrior Dubz". Enjoy!

Kraftwerk, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, El Aviador Dro, Atari Teenage Riot... and lots more.
Some of the more experimental chiptune artists could be tagged as cyberpunk, but chipmusic has nothing to do with cyberpunk, as it's in fact a tool and not a music style per se. Chiptunes group on virb

which sadly.. everyone likes rap so the media pays for mass loads of rap to be made.. an no heavy metal.. but there are still some good names on the chart, slipknot, mudvayne, prodigy, but most all the good ones are couple years old...
while all the new music, is all happy boy rock bands..
but actually half the newer stuff thats decent i haven't found on tv/radio find on the net.. which is weird cause.. its like all the music on the radio sucks.. an the media is really pushing for lame.. happy squirrley type heaving music... thats heave(not heavy).. like vomit.. but vomit with flowers in it..
THE MEDIA is making the nation EASY GOING, and FFUN LOVING

INsidejoKE says:
Hmmmmm.........I think Gattaca would be more of a main stream scifi. The cyberpunk genre usually involves some kind of internet/matrix theme with a grungy or punky atmosphere. I mean nothing is really set in stone when it comes to cyberpunk but there are some common characteristics.

i'd say Children of Men was pretty much cyberpunk.
also one of the best films of 2006.

Who thinks they should remove all the porn off of the net??
I believe they should, the internet is a vast place for knowledge, and freedom of opinion/ expression.. it shouldn't be used for a place of porn an to get off sexually.. you see enough of that on tv.. you don't see reall ppls opinions on tv you see media payed to advertise an draw the consumers desire.. so i think the filth should stay on tv an off the net.. what do you all think???
