Travis Morgan says:
Why do we feel the need to be needed and loved? It seems that when we have someone in our life that genuinely makes us feel loved and needed, we in turn feel truly happy and all our worries and stress seem to disappear.

"Who cares?" is a question/statement that we often hear people say. How does this make you feel? What do you think about this statement?

It says a lot about how human beings generally function. "Who cares?" is often used as an answer or excuse for an action taken or not taken. Who cares if I do this? Who cares if I don't? The implied answer is no one cares; if no one cares, the action taken or not taken is socially acceptable or insignificant. Therefore, people generally act based on what the surrounding society cares and does not care about. If no one cares, they are likely not to be motivated to reproach an action, therefore it is safe to take. If someone cares, attention is drawn, thus one must more carefully decide on whether it is worth it to act. We do what we know we can get away with and what we know won't draw significant attention.

Does anyone know about William g Perry's theory on cognitive thinking? I was looking stuff online to have some specifics about Piaget's theory on cognitive levels and came across his theory.

I'm also really glad for this group - I've had a good deal of psychology from university, and am always interested in discussing the human psyche.

Psychology fascinates me, though I don't claim to know anything about it.
If I stayed at my sixth form it would have been my first choice, but alas, art school does not cater for such needs.
