There is no competition...the most awesome of the awesome are already here. =)
There is no beating the original Awesome group...it's the biggest no-brainer in the history of the earth.

rather than shy...probably just didn't want to take the time to search through the groups to see if there already was one with the same name/idea. should we extend an invitation for them to join our merry band?

Flapjack.
By far the most underrated of the baked goods...

the absolute best flapjacks i've ever had were in bar harbour, maine. they served them with fresh strawberries, a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream and strawberry syrup. OMG!!! of course, the fact that i was pregnant at the time and wanted to eat anything and everything may have been a factor. funny how this group always gravitates back to food, isn't it?

Mmm...did the icecream have little dots to prove it was authentically handmade?
I love it when they do that =)

DEAR TEAM AWESOME,
clearly we're never going to agree on who is more awesome. clearly we all think we're the awesomest of them all, which is why we are so friggin awesome. if we keep arguing about it though, we're going to turn into team not-so-awesome. and that would be sad, because we're awesome damnit.
perhaps we should talk about other things that we think are awesome or the reasons why we're so freakin awesome (?). like for example, i happen to think coffee is awesome, i drink it, i'm awesome. ok maybe that's not the most awesome example, but who's with me? anyone..... anyone? mmmm coffee, & awesomeness.

mangos and mint is a good combo, though I could combine mint with almost anything and like it.
this morning i had yogurt mixed with apples, mint and maple syrup and it kicked some ass.

i want to love grapefruit but, like Milly, I just haven't been able to. I don't hate it or anything, it is fruit after all and we all know that fruit pwns everything else but it just doesn't beat mangos and blueberries.

machine gun of loving kindness says:
grapefruit is definitely awesome. but only the pink/red kind. the yellow kind is not awesome at all. not even a little bit.

it's like the sweet n sour concept, only salty n sugary.
cinnamon-sugar pretzels... never heard of them! i'll add it to the ever growing list of things to try. though i don't recall ever seeing those in any stores. what if i just add cinnamon and sugar to the cream cheese? hah.

haha that just reminded me of this one time when we went camping when i was little someone brought along an old school ice cream maker where theres one big tub thing that you fill with salt and another inside of it that you fill with the cream and whatnot and due to crazy chemistry it eventually turns into ice cream. i was so excited because of the novelty of getting ice cream while camping! when it was all frozen we all dug in and it was so horrible. there was a hole in the inner bucket so tons of the saltiness leaked in so it was like eating frozen creamy salt. haha. that was NOT awesome.

i remember making "ice cream" the same way back in high school chemistry lab.
it was all lumpy and tasted horrible.

oh yeah...the old-school ice cream makers. hahaha
i remember when i was little, my dad would always make ice cream with one of those. we would have to sit on top, with a towel under our bum to keep it from freezing. god...that stuff was so good...not lumpy at all (unless you count the time he put melted chocolate in and it froze into chocolate chunks).
