That sounds nice but I think NBC's going to get a bad rap for not keeping the series going. I think they should just feed those episodes in over the course of the season.

From what I've read, the second series was going to be a compeltely different story, with totally different characters.
This makes me think that Heroes: Origins is their original second series, but the episodes will probably be a bit longer....
When "Generations" kicks off, Tim Kring said that due to the success of the series, the storyline will continue, and conclude about half way through season 2... with a new storyline kicking off to take us to the end of the series.

I'm starting to feel as if Sylar has a higher purpose, and as wicked as he seems, his consuming of people with talents could stop the explosion in some weird twisted way. Maybe he does have some part to play, like a Greek tragedy.
Is he the classic villain, or is he the "savior in disguise", even if it's a little? Or am I coming up with a bigger story than the writers have planned? Just thinking out loud here. Any thoughts?

Ray says:
I think it would be interesting if the writer's played that out, blurring the roles between the good and the bad, creating tension and uncertainty in the storyline.
We have already seen this in the episode 'Five Year Gone' and it was nice to see the different characters switching roles, showing us what they're capable of given the right circumstances. However that timeline also showed a number of characters dying off, and thus it came to a rather sad conclusion. Personally I would like to see it happen but I think it is doubtful.

Well im thinking that Sylar will kill Ted, no doubt. Im wondering if the explosion isn't just Sylar or peter, maybe they get into a huge firefight and both are the cause?

Jay says:
If the city's destroyed ina huge firefight... that would be the perfect "fanboy" ending to the series... and would definitely kick ass..... though I think it'd be good if they left some of the character/power development for the next series too.

It would be even better if Megatron landed onto the City and annihilated everyone. A perfect line up for the movie.

lol @ Ray and Jay (coincidence?)
I was starting to lean toward something along the lines of what Charlie Dreamer said, as far as predictions go, though I do realize now that's likely just our fanboy-ism talking. :P

He lives. Why wouldn't he. He lived in the future realm. What i am looking forward to is who blows up. Peter, Sylar, or Ted?

Chuck says:
I think ted gets taken out, in the preview for next week it shows an insanely cool image of sylar on a rooftop where she says "....boom..." and fire flashes in his eyes. I really doubt he will kill peter, but Ted, probably. how else could he do the fire number.

AngelBabe says:
Yeah, like 'Jiant' said, in the future he said he was the one that blew up. But, maybe Sylar does something to make Peter 'think' he blew up. And duh, Peter's not going to die, well all know that. If he died, then Heroes would be over. : )

peter HAS to live. ted isn't that important, he's actually kind of annoying. and oh man, wtf was sylar thinking with his mom??
posted May 9
countrygal99 says:
i have no clue what sylar was thinking about when he killed his mom. i think that he was really trying to find out why he's gonna blow up. I think he will but if peter does then its all over.

I was thinking maybe she can keep tabs on where Sylar is for avoidance, and help find all the other "talented" folk to keep them out of his hands.
Or maybe there's just something else we don't know about her.
