A massive Warhol Retrospective is coming to Brisbane in February; I'm so excited.
It's $200 just to get through the front door, but the full exhibit takes something like four hours to get through at a swift pace.
Ah, Warhol heaven.

While in my school's art library I came across a book of nothing but Andy Warhol Polaroids.
They're simple and beautiful, and feature pictures of Liza Minnelli, Muhhamed ALi, Lichtenstein, and andy in drag.
It made me love him more.

my old boss taught andy how to ski and ride a snowmobile. andy crashed the snowmobile. almost died. but he was all smiles in the incipient photographs. andy would also hand the phone over to mark everytime basquiat called - i find that remarkably funny.
