I've been sick for almost 2 weeks and am running in the Cherry Blossom 10-miler in downtown DC on Sunday. I ran it in 1:37 three weeks ago in practice, but could barely get through 4 miles earlier this week. Horrible timing!

Wish me luck.

It didn't turn out too bad. 1:36. The friend I was running with finished 20 minutes before me!

Hey kids.. I thought maybe some of us might have run the same events. Some of my recent ones: NYC Tri 2006, Westchester Half Marathon 2006, ran with Dean Karnazes Day 49 of Endurance 50, Reach the Beach Relay (New Hampshire). How about you guys?

I keep it simple and stick to local 10k and under races. I can usually track one down per weekend or every other weekend. I'd also like to run one or two of the major marathons in the northeast/mid-atlantic region but it's not gonna be this year, maybe next?
