On a whim I went into a toy store yesterday and asked if they had any in stock, the guy behind the counter was hesitant to answer and after his pause admitted that they had 5. I bought one and a classic controller.
I have to say, VC is so awesome. :)

I had to break down and get a console off eBay too. I payed just under $350, including shipping. The system came with an extra controller and nunchuck.

Yeah I've never actually seen a wii at any retailer other than launch day. I guess i was lucky when I got mine Launch day, went to best buy at 7:30, they opened at 8:30. I received wii #48 of total 63 in store units.

ooook, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Wii game is so freakin awesome guys, definitely a buyer. I just played until my hands were useless claws and shaped like a nunchuck and a wii-mote, lol. And then, when I'm done going through an awesomely cool narrated story by the turtles, I find out all these coins and turtle shells I've been collecting actually let me buy extras and unlock fun stuff during the game. How cool. So I'm a bit biased because I'm a huge turtles fan, but the game is like taking prince of persia to the wii and adding the story and attitude of the latest TMNT movie. It's a doer for sure.

I'm new so forgive me if anything about this has been said, but I'm trying to get my skill level in wii sports tennis over 2000. I'm around 1900 somewhere. Anyhow, it gets real hard, and I've actually won best of 5 on two seperate occasions when it has deducted points from my skill level!! It's Freakin' IMPOSSIBLE!!!

I've ran into that wall also. I remember the first time I saw I had points taken away after winning, I was not a happy camper.

BTW, am I the only one who has a problem adjusting to the "Pro" ball? I just can't seem to make much progress now that I'm at the 1000 point level.

I've passed 2000 in tennis. Also I found out the points you gain are related to how many points the other team is allowed. So the goal isto let the other team score as little as possible. At least that's how it is in tennis.

I'm hoping Nintendo does the online multiplayer right this time around. Nintendo is still preventing third-party publishers from adding online features to their titles. I hope this changes soon or we'll only be playing first-party titles online (though N's games are usually the best for any of their consoles).

soooo, I got super paper mario yesterday and it's pretty sweet. I love the 2D-3D switching. It's worth the money if you don't mind killing koopas instead of shooting Sunny (Godfather)...It's all good.
P.S. when's mario party 8 released, I preordered it without knowing.

I rented TMNT. It's a pretty fun game and I suggest renting it, but not buying it. Fighting in the game almost comes off as an inconvenience until you get your whole fleet of turtles. I beat it in two nights though, so if you're looking for a huge challenge look elsewhere.
