Really has a nice balance of classic mario with a twist of the 64 old school feel.

I hate both of you. :P ;) I'm dying to play this game!!! I ordered it late... but according to Amazon's tracking service the game is all alone, sitting in a post office the next town over. If all goes well it should be in my hands tomorrow! Oh I hope it is. That would make this weekend a killer one. I'll die if I have to wait till Monday. :(

I waited all day for the Mail-Lady to arrive and when she did, guess what she had for me? Nothing!!! :(... I want to die! :P Though, maybe I'll stick around for a while... till Monday anyway, which is when I really should get the game in the mail. *sigh* This is what I get for trying to save $5. :P
Sucks that you don't have it at your store yet Charlie... maybe it's the same here too? I haven't checked. I'm gonna tell myself the stores are bone dry here too and going with Amazon was the smartest choice. I'll be able to sleep better lying to myself. :P ;)

Oh I got it alright! I've been consumed ever since. Started playing on Monday. Beat it Wednesday. Truly beat it (collected all 120 Power Stars) Thursday night/early Friday morning. Unlocked the secret (which I won't spoil here)... and looking to truly, truly beat it in the not so near future. :P I think it's gonna be a real bitch collecting a select few Power Stars this second time around. I have a few Galaxies in mind that are gonna drive me insane. :P

I think the Purple Comet was the bane of my existence. :P I'm speaking specifically of that Dreadnaught run on that fixed track. I don't know how many time I got 90-something coins... drove me insane!!! And the hardest Daredevil Comet star for me was that Major Burrows one. Grrr!!! Though, I just had to figure out the system of attack.

I just got my wii mote silicon covers. they are pretty nice, great padding, and fit snuggly. No more blisters fro death gripping the remote when playing tennis. All those hard edges are soft and squishy.
Yeah, I know, i know. A blister form playing wiil. I for some reason hold the wii-mote hard when playing tennis, and my thumb rests across the hard corder of the side, and if I play too much, i will get a small blister.

I was never much of a fan for either Smash Bros. game (I never played much), but that all changed when I saw my cousins practicing for some SSB tournament hosted by a local game retailer. I was amazed at the type of game you could enjoy if you really put time into it. I always thought it was a mindless button masher... I never realized the amount of finesse experts employ in a serious game. Ever since then I've been totally psyched about this game. And the additions are insane. I'm gonna go watch more movies now... I need to see some more Smash Ball action. :P :D

as for Sonic, i wonder if his assist trophy will use Knuckles, Tails or Shadow. it would make sense to me
