The only film I've seen in theaters was 2046 when it made it's long and slow trek through the US. It was absolutely gorgeous. I'd love to see In the Mood for Love on the big screen.

The University near me had a WKW fest and they showed everything but Ashes of Time. My friend and I watched In The Mood For Love on dvd before walking across the street to see 2045 in the theater!
What do you think of the unused ending for In The Mood For Love? I

I'm very fortunate to have some great theaters around here that have screened all of Wong Kar-Wai's films. They are really beautiful on the big screen in a dark and silent room. Doesn't look like there are any screenings in the coming months around here, but I imagine that at least once, sometimes twice, a year they are shown either at the Harvard Film Archive or the Brattle. If you live near a university that has a screening room, check out if they have a schedule of screenings or call them!

ohhhhh such good film here. AND not to forget Christopher Doyle, my idol, the Director of Photography for WKW. I'm anxiously awaiting My Blueberry Nights because I'm so curious. I've only seen about half of his filmography... need to get on that

Christopher Doyle isn't the DP for Blueberry Nights. There was some NY Times article that said the two were taking a break from each other.

Hello everyone. I guess I'm the first to comment here. Anyone know where I can get a watchable copy of Ashes of Time? My dvd transfer is horrible. I was able to force myself to sit through it once on principle.

My Blueberry Nights is easily my most anticipated movie of the year; not only is Wong one of my favorite directors, the movie's cast comprises several of my favorite actors as well. Can't wait for its release! Anyone know when?
